No Such Ventures has led the €2.5 million seed round in Ynteq, the AI-native platform for industrial maintenance. The round is joined by a group of experienced angel investors and marks the first investment from No Such Fund I.

Ynteq is building a modern operating system for maintenance teams, replacing fragmented legacy software, spreadsheets and paper-based processes with one simple platform.

The new funding will be used to accelerate go-to-market, invest further in product and AI, and grow the team.

A huge industry still running on outdated software

Europe alone has around 370,000 manufacturing companies with >10 employees. Keeping their machines running is critical, yet many maintenance teams still rely on Excel, paper, legacy systems and knowledge sitting in the heads of experienced technicians.

Ynteq brings that together in one place. Maintenance teams can manage assets, work orders and preventive maintenance, while using AI to quickly find the information they need to diagnose and solve problems.

And the impact is tangible. Ynteq reports customers reducing unplanned downtime by 32%, while maintenance managers save more than five hours per week. The platform has already been developed together with more than 30 maintenance teams.

Why we invested

“Industrial maintenance is a massive market, and the software has not kept up,” says Reinder Lubbers, Partner at No Such Ventures. “Why Ynteq? The team. They have worked in this exact market before, they know the customer and they know where the existing solutions fall short. Every single person we met impressed us.”

Selling software into blue collar factories is something different. The product needs to be hyper intuitive, fit to existing workflows, and prove its value quickly. The Ynteq team knows that because they have been there before, developing the product closely with the teams actually using it. There is another reason this one is special for us: Ynteq is the first investment from No Such Fund I.

After years of investing deal-by-deal, the fund allows us to move with more speed and certainty, while continuing to invest alongside our community of experienced entrepreneurs and operators.

And we couldn’t think of a better company to kick things off with.
